TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2016

Eucumbene Trout Farm is pleased to announce that it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. The achievement celebrates businesses whose hospitality has received strong praise and ratings from traveller reviews over the past year.
We are proud of this achievement as another significant step forward in reviving the Trout farm in the Snowy Mountains. A unique business it had been closed prior to current owners purchase in 2012. We acknowledge we still have a way to go, while this achievement shows we are going the right way.

Our "Tickled Trout" cafe continues to grow and is well regarded for its alpaca burger, certainly not your everyday bite in addition to our usual fare of BBQ’d rainbow trout and smoked trout. We have also secured an on premises liquor licence and our own labelled wine to accompany any meal of fresh rainbow trout at the farm.
Visitor numbers have grown from nil in 2012 to some 5,000 in 2016 and growing. The increasing success of fishing on Stony Lake saw a 1.9kg trout caught on the 1 January 2016 too.
The certificate of excellence is another achievement on the back of our ecotourism accreditation in 2014 in all we are now rated 4 of the 15 things to do in Cooma achieved since 2012, so we look forward to welcoming you and fellow visitors to the farm soon.
Please note as a farm, dogs are not allowed and booking are strongly recommended.
